Park Office

Own land, a sustainable building and everything in our own development; this has always been something we really wanted. In 2017, the opportunity arose to create a place where InteriorWorks employees, end users and partners could experience an inspiring and positive work environment. A place that breathes InteriorWorks' identity. Architect Niels Kramer came up with a concept for that ideal workplace: Park Office, a green oasis in a busy city, like Central Park in New York. A creative and pleasant working environment for our staff, an experience for visitors and an inspiring meeting place for our partners.

Park Office

Our identity is expressed in the openness and transparency of the nearly 600-square-meter space. Here we welcome our employees, customers and partners, to inspire them and transfer knowledge. The building is connected to the warehouse of M.G. Facility and has an area of 2880 m². Thus, we facilitate storage and transfer of products with ease, making our vision of Project Efficiency concrete.‍

Architect Niels Kramer managed to keep the relationship with the outside in his concept, by moving outside in. You enter a world full of flowing lines, organic shapes and rounded corners. Planting and natural materials also play a striking and essential role in the interior. Everything is designed from the biophilic design-thought, which ensures that stress levels are reduced and the connection between user and nature is increased. This goes beyond material selection and planting. Facets such as good air quality, filtered water, healthy food, natural light, comfort, vitality and employee mental health are just as important.

Realization

‍‍」Park Office: what does it look like in practice? When we look at the surface of a park, we see patterns and established paths. Logical routing could not be lacking in our Park Office either. Different walking routes and sightlines ensure this.

In our office you will find several workplace typologies: Social Heart, Theater, Workshop, Break Out, Meeting Room, Flex, Collaboratory, Open Workspace, Concentration, Board Room, Private Meeting and Corner Office. All places have specific features and purposes.

A good beating interior design concept is in the details. Two elements of Park Office that deserve extra attention are the lighting and the window decorations. Both provide atmosphere and lift the interior to a higher level. Our partner Modular provided Park Office with the best lighting. The extraordinary designs of the Spektra, Semih 61, Pista Médard 42 and the Pista Linear merge with the architecture and provide appropriate lighting.

For the right window decoration, partner helped Onel us. In fact, tall windows are perfect for letting in natural light, but too much sunlight can disturb workers. Therefore, all windows are fitted with custom-made blinds that prevent excessive sunlight.
