Woonconcept Jonas

Jonas stands in the harbor of IJburg, Amsterdam's youngest urban district. It is designed and furnished to increase social cohesion in the neighborhood. Whether you are a resident, guest or entrepreneur, you are welcome at Jonas. It is a place where you can meet people, do business, or simply be comfortable at home. For example, the building has The Living Room - with coffee bar - adjacent to The Square where everyone is welcome. From The Living Room you walk along a winding path (also called The Canyon) to Het Dakstrand. When the sun comes through, it's good to hang out there - all for the community. You can also catch a movie here in the Film Room or take a yoga class in the Breakout Rooms.

The desire was to create security. To realize the interior concept of Pubblik & Vos, contemporary and sustainable lighting and furniture were chosen. The brands, along with the fabrics and designs used, that represented the atmosphere well include. HAY, New Works, Ferm Living, FEST and Stattman. But also the Fogia Barba Arm Chair looks great in The Living Room and the Knoll Cesca Chair provides comfortable computer work or to take time out to read the weekend paper.

For Amvest, Pubblik & Vos developed the interior concept of Jonas, a figurehead for the new way of living: consciously sustainable, with the service of a hotel. Jonas is one of the most sustainable buildings in the city where it received the highest attainable BREEAM Outstanding certification.
