Corendon Village Hotel

Corendon, one of the biggest trendsetters in air vacations in the Netherlands, opened the Village Hotel Amsterdam, known for the plane in the backyard. The hotel consists of three complexes - Plaza, Apartments and Urban - with a total of 680 rooms. InteriorWorks handled the project design, from concept to completion, translating the desired themes into a professional interior.

Advice & approach

Together with the architect and the client, the three room themes were translated into unique interiors. Although the rooms each have their own character, they share the same characteristics: simplicity, relaxation, comfort and an urban feel. InteriorWorks provided high-level custom products to match each concept.

Based on the client's architectural sketches and mood board, InteriorWorks developed technical drawings, furniture proposals and samples. Approval was followed by delivery, which allowed the interior to be fully realized.

Apartments, Plaza & Urban

Apartments
The Apartments offer a homey atmosphere for longer-stay guests. Olive green walls and wood tones provide a natural feel. Sleek shelving units made of HPL with powder-coated frames and matching wall shelves combine style and functionality. Wall lights, wood flooring with black-and-white carpet and subtle prints create depth and contrast, creating a comfortable and inviting living space.

Plaza room
The Plaza room exudes luxury with eggplant walls and subtle 3D lines. Eye-catching designer products, such as an angular nightstand, sconces, a veneered oak cabinet with brass detail and a marble bathroom cabinet with sleek steel base, add character and an authentic touch. Warm colors and soft fabrics create a stylish and inviting atmosphere.

Urban room
Designed for short stays, the Urban room exudes a fresh, relaxed atmosphere with sky blue walls. A black HPL wall cabinet and a specially designed mirror with clean lines form the modern foundation of the interior. The black Option chair from Puik and round sconces next to the bed add extra style and ambiance. Small planes in the carpet create a playful accent, while all the comforts are there for an efficient and pleasant stay.
