Green under the dome

After a major renovation, the 5th floor of EDGE West is fully equipped to accommodate Athora's approximately 700 employees. The modern and innovative working environment seamlessly supports Athora's hybrid way of working, with flexible workstations, bright and open spaces, and amenities that encourage collaboration and productivity.

Realization of the design

InteriorWorks helped realize the sustainable vision Drees & Sommer created for the interior design. Together with them, we planned the delivery and assembly of more than 250 workstations, among other things. Dutch brands with a sustainable focus such as Vepa and Arco prevail. Vepa supplied several workstations and cabinets, such as Vepa Piqniq and Vepa Presto. Other sustainable brands with a good presence include Muuto, Vitra, Andreu World, +Halle, HAY and &Tradition.

One-of-a-kind

EDGE West, the building itself, reinforces Athora's new vision. The renovated office building features a striking glass dome that brings daylight deep into the atrium and serves for climate control. Around the atrium are flexible work floors and green meeting spaces. The building is energy positive and achieved both BREEAM Outstanding as WELL Platinum, ensuring sustainability and well-being for users. InteriorWorks was able to contribute where interior design was concerned in combination with the WELL principles. Our WELL expert recommends increasing well-being and vitality in work environments. Together, Athora and EDGE West form an iconic, innovative and people-oriented workplace.
