TECTA's family heritage includes not only friendly ties to Bauhaus legends such as Marcel Breuer, the Gropius family, Jean Prouvé and the English architect couple Alison and Peter Smithson, but also close relationships with contemporary designers such as Katrin Greiling, Hanne Willmann, Thomas Schnur, Marco Dessí and Wolfgang Hartauer - just to name a few. TECTA is a place where Bauhaus history is actively preserved and continued, in the perfect symbiosis between craftsmanship, design and the experience. No other brand boasts such an impressive collection of Bauhaus pieces - about thirty creations. TECTA furniture bears the "Original Bauhaus" label, awarded by the archives of the Berlin School of Art.
