We are looking for a Dutch speaking colleague

Kickstart your career in sales within the interior design industry!
Are you at the beginning of your career and want to develop yourself into a commercial professional? InteriorWorks offers an internal traineeship of 1.5 to 2 years in which you will be trained to become a full-fledged Sales Manager or Commercial Project Manager.

No experience in interior design? No problem. If you're curious, show initiative and want to grow, we'll teach you the rest.

About InteriorWorks
InteriorWorks is a specialist in corporate office and project design. We work for a wide range of clients: from SMEs to multinationals, hotel chains, healthcare institutions and governments.

From our showroom in Amsterdam-Noord we realize inspiring projects in which people are central. Think of projects for Booking.com, Google, McDonald's, The Social Hub and Pillows Hotel Amsterdam, among others.

Together with architects, project managers, facility managers, real estate parties and furniture manufacturers, we create interiors that work, inspire and connect.

What will you do?
From day one you will rotate in our sales team and actively participate in commercial projects. You will learn how interior projects are created, from initial customer request to completion, and at the same time develop your commercial skills.

During the traineeship:

  • Collaborate on quotes, proposals and customer presentations that really make a difference
  • Support you in commercial processes and customer inquiries
  • Maintain contact with clients, architects, suppliers and partners
  • Learn how interior design projects are constructed and sold
  • Quickly build product and market knowledge through training and hands-on experience
  • Are you taking a basic interior design course
  • Think actively about commercial opportunities and solutions
  • Grow step by step to greater independence and responsibility

This traineeship is not a peek-a-boo function, you will make a concrete contribution directly to our sales results.

Who are you?

  • Driven, ambitious and commercially minded
  • You want to learn, grow and develop yourself in sales
  • You communicate easily and enjoy building relationships
  • Interested in interior, design and project design
  • Accurate, customer-oriented and solution-oriented
  • Minimum HBO working and thinking level
  • Internship experience or up to ±2 years of work experience
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Experience in interior design is nice, but motivation and energy are more important to us.
