After a week full of inspiration, innovation and Italian espressos, Milan Design Week 2025 has come to an end once again. As every year, the streets of Milan transformed into a lively open-air museum where creativity and design went hand in hand. Salone del Mobile was as always grand and dynamic and this year also colorful, conceptual and with a clear fusion between furniture, design and experience. We scoured the city center, Brera, Tortuna and of course the fair to bring all the news from the design world back to the Netherlands. We have compiled a top 10 of the introduced products that have stuck with us the most and of which we have great expectations! that caught our attention during this year's event.
PI, by Kettal Studio
Kettal calls PI a "micro-architecture system" that completely turns your office environment upside down. With this flexible system, you can easily create different zones in the office where people can seclude themselves for meetings or concentrated work, without the need for separate rooms with doors. Unlike the old-fashioned rigid office layout, PI offers a simple yet multifunctional furniture system that lets you create the perfect space for any task - whether it's focus areas, consultation areas or practical zones such as a coffee corner. The H-shaped units are made of recycled PET that not only muffles sound but also has a luxurious look. You install the system in no time with no remodeling, and you can always expand or adjust it later if your needs change.

Goom | MDF Italia
With the new sofa Goom from MDF Italia Immerse yourself completely in comfort. Design Jean Marie Massaud did extensive research on materials to reflect softness and clean and clear lines. The edges of the cushions are an iconic design feature that reinforces the contrast between heavy and light, giving the impression that the sofa is floating. This modular system consists of a loose element, a chaise longue, two corner elements and two poufs, where you can also add one or more armrests. From the wooden interior to the upholstery and foam, Goom is designed so that you can take everything apart, all according to circular economy principles.

Trench | Acerbis
With Trench, designer Philippe Malouin shows what Acerbis stands for: a series of sofas and chairs that give a fresh twist to upholstered furniture with entirely new proportions. The simple, almost ancient form has something artistic, but surprises you with the comfortable seating - thanks to one continuous, supple line that forms both seat and backrest. Trench looks light, which is made all the more striking by the floating effect of the frame that rests on two transverse legs. The perfectly integrated armrests are available in a fixed version or as individual elements that you can move as you wish.
Nice detail; Last year the glass Lokum Side Tables, designed by Sabine Marcelis, were also shining at the Acerbis booth. In the same style of the '60s-'70s, Lokum completes a setting with the Trench series.

Straw | Modular Lighting
In the showroom of Modular Lighting we were introduced to Straw. Designer Jeffrey Huyghe reinterprets classic tubular lighting with refined lines and recessed ends that create a floating effect. The innovative swivel system lets you choose between downlight, wall washer or uplight, perfectly tailored to any space. The convenient click system connects modules into continuous lines or complex compositions. Available in a variety of colors and finishes, Straw combines office-worthy lighting performance with creative possibilities.

Pausit | Arper
The state of Arper during Salone del Mobile distinguished itself by focusing on sustainability here, unlike many other exhibitors. This year Arper is introducing Pausit, not just a waiting bench, but an innovative and circular concept that invites you to slow down, reset & reconnect. The design, by Lievore Hary, offers ergonomic comfort with refined aesthetics and effortlessly adapts to different waiting scenarios - think airports, hospitals and in offices. With a wide range of finishes, accessories and connectivity options, Pausit delivers customized solutions for both upscale environments and large public spaces. After taking a breather on this couch, we too concluded that we could once again wander the rest of the fair full of energy. Good comfort!

Ben | Functionals
Functionals also introduced a bench for public spaces. Designers from Kaschkasch made sure that this design sits to suit the environment, the design is suitable for museum as well as your own garden. Ben embraces sustainability at every stage: from timeless design with recyclable materials to local production and efficient packaging.

MATAU & PHIL | Imperfettolab
Want to make a statement? Then Imperfettolab is the place to be. During Salone del Mobile, the brand presented two unique armchairs; MATAU and PHIL. High and narrow VS round and solid. MATAU is a sculptural chair with powerful lines with a shape to provoke. PHIL fills the space with its soft and curved shape, inviting to relax for a moment, fitting in both an elegant living room and modern office.

Acamante | LaCividina
Acamante, designed by Elisa Ossino, impressed us during Milan Design Week 2025. Acamante is distinguished by a solid lacquered plywood base and a layered structure of seat cushions. Thanks to its modular nature, the sofa can be configured in different arrangements - linear, corner or island - making it dynamically adapt to any space. It is a sofa with high seating comfort thanks to its wide seating surface and multi-layer cushions.

Vision | Arco
The Vision storage concept is a true Dutch design classic, designed in 1985 by Karel Boonzaaijer and Pierre Mazairac for Pastoe. This year, Arco Vision included in own collection. Vision embodies the simplicity, flexibility and precision that characterize the entire Arco collection. The collection differentiates between; Vision Selected and Vision Modules. Vision Selected is the fixed cabinet system available in three models in different accent colors. With Vision Modules, it is possible to create personal cabinet configurations from different modular elements, available in Arco's veneer options and updated color palette.

Bolete Chair & Valencia Stool | Andreu World
No Milan Design Week without Patricia Urquiola. Andreu World already presented the prototype of the Patricia Urquiola-designed Bolete Chair last year. This year we saw the updated version including wheels (which are not visible!) for more ease of use. Patricia Urquiola did not stay away from Andreu World, she also designed the Valencia Stool. A solidarity design with the aim of raising money for the victims of the recent climate disaster. The Valencia Stool is produced through 3D printing with a biological, biodegradable and compostable material.
